　　Having considered the proposal put forward by the State Council and the Central Military Commission for approval of the opening of Wuhan， Jiujiang and Wuhu Port to foreign vessels， the 22nd Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Seventh National People's Congress decides to approve the opening of Wuhan， Jiujiang and Wuhu Port to foreign vessels. The State Council is authorized to grant approval in the future when there is a need to open other ports along the inland rivers to foreign vessels.
