　　[1. Ratification by the Nether lands was declared to be effective inrespect of the Netherlands Antilles.

　　2. Ratification by the United kingdom was declared to be effective inrespect of Bermuda. With effect from May 5. 1981.

　　3. The Preamble. Articles and Testimonies of the Protocol were done bythe International Conference on Marine Pollution in London on November 2.1973 For the text of the Final Act of the Conference. see IMCO Publication77. 14E. The Annex to the Protocol （see page 22） was adopted by the MarineEnvironment Protection Committee of the Organization by Resolution MEPC. I（II） of November 21. 1974， that Committee having been designated by theAssembly of the Organization as the body referred to in paragraph 2 （a） ofArticle I of the Protocol （Assembly Resolution A 296 （VIII） of November 23（1973）。]
