too... to...也可以表示肯定

   在"too... to..."句型中，too是副词，后接形容词或副词，too引导不定式，作状语，
意思为"太...而不能..."，

例如: The news is too good to be true.这消息太好了，叫人不敢相信。
The box is too heavy for the child to carry.箱子太重，那个小孩搬不动。

但是，下面几种情况"too... to..."则表示肯定意义。

1.当too后面接anxious, eager, ready等一类形容词时：
Jenny is too ready to speak. Jenny话太多了。
I am too anxious to know the test result. 我太想知道考试结果了！

2.当too前面有用于加强语气的only, all, but等词时。
I am only too glad to meet you. 见到你真是太高兴了。
You know but too well to hold your tongue. 你深知保持沉默的妙处。

3.当too前面有not或never时：（有人认为这是双重否定表示肯定）
One is never too old to learn.
It is not/never too late to mend.
